Timofey Rytikov develops user interface that improves the way of life of others. Tries to contribute open source projects. He has been developing WordPress applications since introduced to WordPress. He learned Android and now develop native Android applications. Also, he believes that “code is the meaning of pixels on the screen.”

What inspired you to give this talk at WordCamp?

I’m always inspired by open source and this is one way I can give back to the community on what I know and learned.

How did you discover WordPress?

A friend of my introduced me to open source and WordPress is the best example of open source. It led me to discover WordPress.

How has WordPress Or WordCamp impacted you?

I have learned different programming languages that led me to do some amazing things. Also discovered a great community and met amazing people.

How do you primarily work with WordPress?

Most of my projects are centered with WordPress. I build web applications with WordPress and also build custom WordPress admin dashboards. WordPress provides a very powerful platform for unique projects. Also, WordPress provides for storing data and using it inside of an app with its Rest API.

What does the WordCamp theme Discovery mean to you?

Uncovering new possibilities in open source world. Also, a discovery is a process of discovering so it’s about the process to the goal.

What do you do for fun?

I enjoy a range of things from art to developing to building useless robots always come back to creativity. I also play volleyball an all-time favorite sport.
