What inspired you to give this talk at WordCamp?

I find that people get nervous or frustrated with the challenge of a blank screen. Blogging can feel hard and blogging consistently can feel impossible, so I wanted to show folks a new way to think about things.

How did you discover WordPress?

I was looking for an alternative to a CMS that was in .NET (dotnetnuke) and found WordPress via Google. Trying it out, I discovered it was really clean and easy to use. That was 11 years ago.
